During the games there’s also a Business Class of the tournament for the companies that sponsor the event. Its goal is to make the sport of academic kyykkä more known to people outside the university since most of the regular players come from the students of the major universities.
The event is perfect for raising team spirit by playing together outdoors in a crisp winter day. The day starts with a good meal and an introduction to the sport. During the introduction teams learn the rules and how the game is played so that everyone can enjoy the day properly. Kyykkä is known as a relaxed sport so it’s ok to have your own beverages with you on the field.
When the games have ended it’s time to relax and celebrate. Evening part of the day begins with food and beverages continued by warm sauna and the famous after-kyykkä in a local nightclub Club Dione. During the evening celebrations the best teams of every class will be rewarded and the event ends with a bang when a great live band enters the stage and rocks our hearts out.
